Baby Boomer Alert: Actor Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. Dies at 95 (VIDEO)

Efrem Zimbalist Jr. had one of the longest show business careers in history.  from movies in the 1940s to more than four decades on television, he was a familiar face to three generations of Americans.

Where did you jump on his career?  Perhaps it was "The F.B.I." television series.  It was a big hit and ran for 9 years.  Of course those of us a little bit older will remember him as the handsome private eye in 77 Sunset Strip which basically made him a star.  The show ran for 206 episodes from 1958 to 1964.

Mr. Zimbalist's daughter is the noted actress Stephanie Zimbalist.
