Arrest Made In Sherburne Robbery

The suspect in a Monday morning robbery at a Mirabito gas station in Sherburne is under arrest. According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, Timothy M. Adams, age 34 is accused of steeling a number of items and assaulted the cashier with a cup of hot coffee. Adams did not wield a weapon but did appear to be carrying a large knife in a sheath on his waistband. He was arrested a few hours after the robbery and has been charged with Robbery in the Second Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Stolen Property.
