This vintage Flintstones  TV commercial borders on disbelief.

To think that Fred and Barney would relax by smoking Winston cigarettes in a show aimed at children is unreal. There is NO WAY this commercial would ever be seen by today's generation.

In fact the last TV cigarette commercial was aired at 11:59PM on January 1, 1971 on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (it was for Virginia Slims).

You have to admit, when Barney Rubble reaches for his pack of Winstons in this clip it is STARTLING!
