2012 Chenango United Way Campaign Comes to Close

The 2012 Chenango United Way campaign ends at noon today, after kicking off with the annual Day of Caring in late September.

Elizabeth Monaco, Executive Director of Chenango United Way, says they had one of their best years.

"We've had a majority of our companies meet or exceed their goals," she said. "We had a lot of new givers this year. It's been a great year, but we're still a little short."

Monaco says they are a lot closer to their goal than in recent years thanks to more donors and many companies exceeding their goal, United Way programs are always in need of as much funding as possible.
