This morning we counted down the list of Top 100 Love Songs for Valentines Day.

Now, I know there are many lists of all sorts out there.  But this was pretty comprehensive.  The source polled 4,000 DJs, wedding planners, chapels, and music websites.  The final list covers all eras and genres.

I mentioned all the songs this morning, and they included "Kiss From A Rose" (Seal),  "Time After Time" (Cyndi Lauper), "At Last" (Etta James), "Just the Way You Are" (Billy Joel), "Soul and Inspiration" (Righteous Brothers), "Let's Get It On" (Marvin Gaye), and "I Will Always Love You" (Dolly Parton/Whitney Houston).  The lucky songs I actually played were the songs that landed "on the tens."

They were:

#100:  "Oh, Girl" by The Chi Lites

#90:  "Buy Me a Rose" by Kenny Rogers

#80:  ""On the Street Where You Live" by Vic Damone

#70:  "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" by Paul Anka

#60:  "Moon River" by Andy Williams

#50:  "Love Will Keep Us Together" by Captain and Tennille

#40:  "I Swear" by John Michael Montgomery

#30:  "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole

#20: "Up Where We Belong" by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes

#10:  "Could I Have The Dance For the Rest of My Life" by Anne Murray

...and the #1 love song for Valentine's Day is this gem:
