The latest Siena Poll has shown Governor Andrew Cuomo has lost three percentage points and his Republican opponent has gained four.

Those numbers represent a small part of Cuomo's 61-26 lead. The main concern is that voters seem to be dissatisfied with the state’s progress over the past three years.

Asked if things had improved in a number of areas, respondents by a narrow margin said things have stayed the same in areas such as the business climate and civil rights, but have gotten worse in the quality of education.
