Delhi Man Charged with Grand Larceny, Perjury, and Fraud

The City of Oneonta Police Department on Wednesday afternoon arrested 53-year-old Robert Donaldson from Delhi for the felonies of grand larceny, perjury, and fraudulent insurance practices.

The arrest was the result of a combined investigation by the City of Oneonta Police Department Detective Bureau, New York State Insurance Fund investigators, and New York Workers Compensation Board Office of the Fraud Inspector General.

Police say the investigation showed that Donaldson had received benefits from the Workers Compensation Board while being employed and did make false testimony to the related facts of his wages.

Donaldson was arraigned in the City of Oneonta Court and remanded to the Otsego County Correctional Facility without bail to appear at a later date.
