The Oneonta World of Learning (OWL) is holding their 6th Annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday, June 2, 2013.  It will be held at the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club on River Street.

This event gets bigger and bigger each year.  In 2012 more than 1,400 attended this free family fun day.  And free is the catch word.  FREE ICE CREAM will be provided by Golden Guernsey, Pie in the Sky and Stewarts! The event runs from 1-5 p.m.

Three will be plenty of activities for kids of all ages.  Sure to be a hit is the chance for kids to make their own "jitterbug."  OWL will  provide all the necessary parts (wires, a CD, eyes, battery, fan, etc.) needed to make this little doo-hickey.  Kids of all ages (see Big Chuck with his jitterbug in the photo above) will love this little item!

Listen to the interview with Rachel from OWL from this morning here!
