So, when all you need is a good cookie, I am here to tell you that you can find memorable cookies at dozens of great bakeries, big and small, all over the Upstate New York region.

We hope to introduce you to many of these "master cookie makers" in future posts but this gallery will start it off with a look at ten bakeries.  They cover all over the Upstate region.  Some are big and in big cities.  Others are small and in rural communities.  Some have storefront bakeries, others make their goodies at home and offer up an online way to order them.  All are great.

It always amazes me the new sophisticated way bakers can put artwork on a cookie.  Incredible.  And, the themes are endless and only limited by the baker's imagination.  You will see a couple of examples in this grouping.
