And the winner is...Oneonta Christian Academy.  What did they win?  The bid to make the former Otego Elementary School their new home since OCA has outgrown their current space on River Street in Oneonta.

According to AllOTSEGO, the Unatego Central School Board made the announcement last night following a unanimous vote.  The Oneonta Christian Academy’s $125,000 bid for the vacant Otego Elementary School has been accepted, with a closing due in about four weeks. Board member Dick Downey stated that the sale “maintains the heart of the community.”

OCA plans to jump right in following the win by holding events at the building in Otego's downtown, and there's a plan to conduct summer school there next year, with the intention of starting OCA classes there in September of 2020.
