Otego Farm Raw Milk Found To Have Listeria

The Department of Agriculture and Markets has issued a warning about raw milk from an Otego, NY farm. Test results from the unpasteurized cow milk from the Muddy River Dairy came back positive for a form of listeria. So far there have been no reports of illness. Symptoms include high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. If you have the milk, you should dispose of it immediately. Muddy River Dairy is prohibited from selling milk until tests come back negative.
