Two Otsego County Homes Destroyed By Fire

Families in Morris and Laurens were forced out of their homes Monday due to fires. The first was on West Hill Road and officials say it started due to an accident while a resident was working inside the home The other fire was at a county highway 10 home and according to investigators it started in the chimney. The American Red Cross offered assistance to both families in finding temporary housing along with providing clothing and food.
