Two Delaware County teens face felony charges after engaging in two separate vehicle pursuits with State Troopers on June 6 in the early morning hours. According to New York State Police at Sidney, an erratic driver on I-88 near Unadilla refused to pull over for police and instead took off at a high speed. The driver then exited onto State Route 7, crashed the vehicle that had been stolen from the Town of Downsville and ran from the wreckage along with another teen that had been in the car. The pair then stole a second car in Unadilla and sped off but were stopped at the intersection of State Route 7 and 8 and taken into police custody.

A 16-year-old was arrested for the felonies of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree, Grand Larceny in the third degree and two counts of the misdemeanor of Fleeing an Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the third degree.  A 17-year-old was arrested for the felonies of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree and Grand Larceny in the third degree. Both were arraigned and released to their legal guardians.
