The Rogers Center To Celebrate Winter Living In Chenango County

The Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center are planning their annual winter living celebration.

The weekend event is for the whole family with lots of outdoor activities like cross country skiing, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, as well as crafts, music and exhibitions.

The Rogers Environmental Education Center is a formerly state-funded facility which was taken over by volunteers in 2010 to keep it open for the community to enjoy.

The Winter Living Celebration is from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday January 26th at the Rogers Environmental Center in Sherburne. The event is free and open to the public. The center is on Route 80, just west of the village of Sherburne.
