Otsego County jail

Convicted felon Tadd Sherwood, 35, is locked-up in the Otsego County jail. Authorities allege Sherwood pointed a gun at a victim during a dispute and then fired a shot in the victim’s direction.

Authorities are still investigating the stabbing murder of 24-year-old Kaleb O’Neill in an Oneonta alley

Investigations are continuing by the New York Attorney General’s Office and the state Commission of Corrections after an inmate was found unconscious inside his Otsego County jail cell. Corrections officers performed CPR but the man was pronounced dead after being taken to Bassett Medical Center.
