Otsego County Jail Closed Due To Water Leak

The Otsego County Jail is temporarily closed because of a water leak on Friday. According to the Sheriff’s Office all inmates have been transferred to nearby facilities and for those with questions about where an inmate was taken, they can call the jail at (607) 547-4252.

Jail authorities are working with the New York State Commission of Corrections, the Otsego County Chairman of the Board of Representatives, Engineers, and Health and Safety Officials to properly repair and correct the leak as soon as possible.
