This year's Emmy Awards are over.  It was all about Breaking Bad, Modern Family and a touching tribute to the late Robin Williams. The 4-hour show was a colorful television pageant loaded with stars, droning acceptance speeches and some hit and miss comedy pieces...

Everybody loves Lucy! Lucille Ball was born in Upstate New York  on this day in 1911.  The once and forever "Queen of Comedy," Lucy is one of TV's greatest icons.  There were so many memorable scenes from the classic "I Love Lucy" program...

We all love old television shows.  The stars from the old shows are still vivid to us today...Rob and Laura Petrie ("The Dick Van Dyke Show"), Andy Griffith "Mayberry R.F.D."), Bob Crane ("Hogan's Heroes"),  Barbara Eden ("I Dream of Jeannie") and so many more.

The Kennedy Center Honors have been awarded each year since 1978.  They are considered to be the highest honor an American celebrity can receive and are given out to only a small handful of performers and artists each year.
