Susquehanna SPCA Pet Of The Week–‘Kettle’
Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – her name is “Kettle”. Every Tuesday morning on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home which has been overlooked by visitors for some reason. Many times, it's because many animals are shy while in the shelter because it can be a stressful situation! Once adopted, many cats and dogs warm right up to their owners.
Kettle, is a 10-year-old cat who is the most loving and outgoing girl you will ever meet. When this cutie sees people, she happily chirps at them asking for attention. Kettle gets overlooked because of her age, but what folks need to remember is that senior animals need homes to retire in just as much as a kitten or puppy needs a home to grow up in. You could really change a senior pet's life by bringing them into your family and giving them extra snuggles, snacks and love.
To meet Kettle or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience and for more personal attention from staff, although walk-ins are welcome.
