Children and families from Oneonta and the surrounding area are invited to the SUNY Oneonta campus to participate in back-to-back Halloween events on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

A Halloween carnival sponsored by the Order of the Omega will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Hunt Union Ballroom. Immediately following the carnival, Residential Community Life will host the annual Halloween in the Halls event, wherein SUNY Oneonta student volunteers guide trick-or-treaters and the adults who accompany them on trick-or-treat routes from Hunt to several of the residence halls.

Students in each building will have snacks and treats for the children, as well as activities for them to participate in. Halloween in the Halls will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude by 8 p.m.

Additional information about the event is available from the SUNY Oneonta Office of Residential Community Life at (607) 436-2514. Visitors for the event are welcome to park in any lot. Displayed ADA permits are required to use handicapped-accessible parking spots.
