SUNY Employees Union Deal Reached

New York and the union representing more than 35,000 SUNY employees reach a six-year labor agreement. According to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office the contract agreement with United University professions includes 2 percent wage increases each year through 2021-2022, provides access to new Paid Family Leave benefits, and establishes an adjunct faculty minimum compensation. The agreement won the approval of nearly 98 percent of UUP members who cast ballots.
