Tractor Theft Suspect Faces Felony Charges

A Deposit man faces felony charges for stealing a tractor. Police say Zachary Thomas took the $5,000 tractor from a property which was part of an estate of man who recently died. Investigators say they talked to a number of neighbors and that resulted in Thomas’ arrest last week. He appeared in Town of Coventry court and was released on his own recognizance pending a September 26 appearance. The tractor was found behind a barn in Bainbridge.
