ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York authorities say troopers are out in force across the state this week to enforce speeding and aggressive driving laws.

The state police says more patrols will be out on major highways, including a larger than usual number of unmarked vehicles.

The agency says about a third of all fatal accidents involve speeding.

The push that started this weekend will continue through Saturday.
