State Police Bust Convenience Stores for Underage Alcohol Sales

State police led an underage drinking initiative Saturday in Otsego County.

Police checked retail convienence stores in Otsego County in the towns of Worcester, Milford and Hartwick, and the villages of Cooperstown and Richfield Springs. Six of the stores checked were found to be in full compliance with all New York State Laws.

Arrests were made in two other stores with clerks being charged with unlawfully selling alcohol to a person under 21 years old. One store was located in Hartwick, the other in Richfield Springs.
