Post Offices Open Late for Tax Day Filers

Today is April 15, the day your tax returns must be completed and postmarked by midnight.

Some post offices are open late so check with your local post for closing times. Experts say that the rush of last minute filing is responsible for one of the biggest mistakes, that of omission.

Late filers are encouraged to file electronically. If you don't think you can complete your return by midnight, you can file for a six month extension
