Violent sex level three sexual offender Teddy Faison has been arrested in Otsego County for failing to provide accurate information on his permanent address.

Faison, 30, of New York City, was arrested in March by the Oneonta Police Department and used an address of Brook Street in Laurens when he was processed.

Friday afternoon, Faison was arrested again and charged with failure to notify police of an address change and failure to verify an address after police visited the residence he had listed in the sex offender registry and discovered he did not live there.

Faison was arraigned in village of Cooperstown court and returned to the Otsego County correctional facility without bail. If convicted, Faison could be sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.

He was initially convicted in 2003 for sexual abuse of a 14-year-old female.
