A Walmart store in Cortlandville was closed for nearly seven hours after a bomb threat was called in just before 3 p.m. Saturday.

According to the Cortland County Sheriiff's Office, the building was evacuated immediately. A Broome County sheriff's k-9 trained in bomb detection and the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office bomb squad assisted in the search.

The Walmart re-opened at 10 p.m. The investigation into the incident continues. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cortland County Sheriff's Office at 607-753-3311.
