WOW! WOW!

WDOS, WSRK and WZOZ held a two hour simulcast radiothon this morning to raise money to help rebuild historic Doc Knapp Field. The home of Oneonta's Little League for almost a half century was heavily damaged in a vandalism spree this past Saturday night.

When League President Billy Erario came in at 8 am we asked him "what do you need?" He responded that he thought it would take about $3,000 to get the damaged facilities up and running for the opening of the Little League season in April.  And off we went on our appeal to our listeners to join in this fundraising effort.

At 10:00 a.m. the final total was $10,077.  That is an INCREDIBLE amount to raise in two hours!  As I have always said..."Nobody has better listeners than we do."  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Now..."lets play ball!"
