The River Ride event in Oneonta held every June is no more.

Opportunities for Otsego announced Tuesday that it made the decision to discontinue the annual River Ride Cycling Experience. OFO issued the following statement:

We regret to announce that OFO has made the difficult decision to discontinue the Annual River Ride Cycling Experience. We know that this will be a disappointment for many in our cycling community, but it just has not been a successful fundraiser. OFO expresses its personal thanks to the many people who have supported it these many years.

The 12th annual River Ride was held last year on June 2. The River Ride was an event that offered cyclists five routes to choose from, ranging from 11 to 46 miles.
