Open Auditions for Local Young Artist Showcase 2014

On Sunday May 18th The West Kortright Centre will hold auditions for Opening Acts: Young Artist Showcase 2014 for ages 10-21 from Delaware, Otsego, Chenango, and Schoharie counties.

Auditions will be considered in the following categories; dramatic scenes, readings of original work, and vocal and instrumental music, including blues, country, classical, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, folk and operetta. Participants may earn the right to perform a five minute set, as well as the chance to share the stage and interact with world renowned artists.

The West Kortright Centre, located near East Meredith, is a community-based multi-arts and performance center which began in 1975. It has been holding this event since 1992.
