Oneonta Man Dies After Falling Off Ladder

According to New York State Police, yesterday, a fall off a ladder proved fatal for an Oneonta man.  At approximately 11:35 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call from a residence on Swart Hollow Road in the Town of Oneonta.  Responders attempted life-saving measures at the scene on 56-year-old Troy G. Anderson of Oneonta who had been helping the homeowner with repairs outside his home when he fell approximately 20-30 feet from a ladder for an unknown reason.

Anderson was transported to A.O Fox Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The investigation is on-going, but at this time no foul play was observed and it appears to be an accident.
