Oneonta Man Arrested on Child Endangerment Charge

Sheriff Richard J. Devlin, Jr. announced the arrest of an Oneonta man for disseminating indecent materials to a minor.  James A. Carey, 33, of Oneonta was arrested on Thursday November 8, 2018 following an investigation.  Carey was found to be electronically sending and receiving nude photographs with a 12 year old female.

Carey has also been charged with a felony count of endangering the welfare of a child and has been remanded to the Otsegeo County Correctional Facility.
