NYSP Joins With AAA For School’s Open Safety Campaign

The New York State Police announced they are joining AAA for this year’s “School’s Open, Drive Carefully” campaign. The campaign helps to inform motorists of the risks to school-age children from motor vehicle accidents and according to officials that is the leading cause of death for children from five-years-old to fourteen-years-old. “School’s Open” bumper stickers will also remind travelers as they will be placed on police cars, official vehicles, and school buses. The campaign runs through October 13.
