NYS Now Has Confirmed Coronavirus Case

New York has its first confirmed case of the Coronavirus. State officials say the case is a woman in Manhattan who is now self-quarantined. She contracted the virus while traveling abroad in Iran and has respiratory symptoms, but is not in serious condition. Health officials have previously tested several New York resident who have reported symptoms consistent with the pneumonia-like virus, but until now each suspected case had come back negative.
