School personnel have new resources to help prevent and address substance use disorder among young people.The New York State Department of Health, the New York State Education Department, and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services produced materials in English and Spanish for coaches, teachers, school nurses, and other educators to use in personal conversations with students and in community forums. According to Governor Cuomo's Office, the material will be made available on starting Monday via computer flash drives. and includes more than 80 different sources of valuable information including materials usable to deliver public presentations at community forums.
