In spite of rumors of lower natural gas prices slowing drilling activity in Northeastern Pennsylvania, activity is being observed in Bradford County and established wells.  Recently, a man appeared behind our camper with some survey equipment in view of one of the many gas pads in the area.  He explained that he was taking measurements to establish where utilities at the RV park are located in relation to the drilling operations.  When questioned whether that meant another horizontal leg was going to be headed toward us, he said he didn't know anything and was just taking measurements. There were also unanswered questions about why there may be any issue with underground utilities since the widely circulated information about the nature of drilling has indicated the lines would be well below the level of any infrastructure.
