Motivational Speaker Coming to Hartwick

Internationally acclaimed inspirational speaker and author John Robinson will deliver a lecture at 5 p.m. Thursday at Hartwick College's Shineman Chapel House.

The event is free and open to the public.

Robinson is a multiple amputee who will speak to those attending about overcoming obstacles in life and what it means to be "disabled."

To date, Robinson and his story have been featured across several media outlets such as PBS, and he has authored the autobiography "Get Off Your Knees: A story of faith, courage, and determination," published by Syracuse University Press.
