More Than 18,000 Attend Sharon Springs Annual Harvest Festival

A large crowd enjoyed lively live entertainment, wares being sold by 100 vendors, perfect Upstate New York fall weather and an appearance by an American Idol finalist this past weekend in Sharon Springs. More than 18,000 people are estimated to have attended the two day festival. Josh and Brent, "The Fabulous Beekman Boys," were on hand at their 1802 Mercantile store on Main Street to greet hundreds of fans who stopped by to say "Hi, neighbor!"

Big Chuck emceed the entertainment tent all weekend long. Featured performer was Madison VanDenburg. She placed third in this year's American Idol contest on TV.
