Local Man to Serve 6 Months for Post Office Burglary

A Madison County man will serve 6 months in prison for burglarizing the Eaton Post office last year. Jeremy Cook of Eaton admitted he broke into the post Office with the intent to steal money last August. He attempted to break into a safe and then fled without taking any money. According to WKTV he was also sentenced in Federal Court to 3 years probation after serving the 6 months prison term.
