As the pandemic loosens its grip on us all, things are slowly returning to "normal." And this includes beginning to enjoy all the vents in our area, both big and small, that make living here fun when the weather starts to get nice.
One of those events is coming up on May 15. Please join your friends and neighbors by coming out and participating in the family-friendly Town of Hartwick, N. Y. Appreciation Day.The little hamlet has a lot of history and you will be able to find out much about Hartwick on this day. There will be several Open Houses in the community. Be sure and stop by the Open House at the Community Center Food Bank and see all the good work these folks do for their neighbors.The kids should plan on stopping by the Town Hall and get a free gift. And save room for lunch! Grab a bite at Tickled Pink barbecue in the center of town.There will be a book sale at the historic Kinney Memorial Library, which will also be hosting an exhibit put together by the Hartwick Historical Society. Join in the community Clean Sweep, which begins at 8:00 am. And then the Hartwick Appreciation Day events begin at 9:00 am.We wish all of our friends and neighbors in Hartwick a fun and memorable day.
