Hunting Fatality in Otsego County

State police are investigating a hunting fatality that occurred Saturday at around 10:20 am in woods near the Town of Westford.

52-year-old Charles Bruce of Franklin Square, Long Island, was shot in the chest and died at the scene.

State police are being assisted in the investigation by the Otsego County District Attorney's office and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
