New York Governor Andrew Cuomo wants to make farmers markets easier for low-income customers to get to.

He's announced $130,000 in grants to start up or support 13 traditional farmers and youth market projects across the state.

There's also $10,000 to be spent on getting ideas on how to access farmers markets that accept food stamps, now known as the supplemental nutrition assistance program.

The program promotes the sale of locally grown food.
