Gilbertsville Fire Chief David Robinson has issued a review of the fire department's activities in 2020.  He reported that firefighters responded to 20 calls and the volunteers in the department logged nearly 800 hours of work.  The number of calls included all fire, motor vehicle accidents, downed trees, carbon monoxide calls and mutual aid requests.

The Gilbertsville Emergency Squad responded to 99 calls and worked more than 350 hours
