State police at Norwich arrested four Chenango County men on Tuesday in connection with a home invasion burglary at a residence on Bradley Hill Road in Oxford.

The burglary took place in the early morning hours of December 30th. Charged in connection with the robbery are:

Corey Clark, 31, of Norwich for one count of felony burglary 1st degree and four counts of felony unlawful imprisonment 1st degree.

Mark Alemar, 35, of Guilford for one count of felony burglary 1st degree and four counts of unlawful imprisonment 1st degree.

Justin Townsend, 25, of Bainbridge for one count of felony burglary 1st degree and four counts of felony unlawful imprisonment 1st degree

Jayson VanValkenburg, 24, of New Berlin for one count of felony burglary 1st degree.

The arrests were made following a joint investigation conducted by the New York State Police, the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Norwich Police Department

All four suspects have been arraigned and are currently in the Chenango County Correctional Facility awaiting future court appearances.
