Fort Hunter Veterans Pow Wow Begins Today

The Annual Veterans Powwow in Fort Hunter starts on Friday at the Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site on Schoharie St. The gates open at 10:00 a.m. and at noon the grand entry will take place which honors veterans, Gold Star Mothers and Fathers, police, firefighters and first responders. Donations at gate will be $5 for adults. $3 for seniors and free for kids under 6, vets with proper ID, the handicapped and nursing home residents. The event runs through Sunday.
