Edmeston Museum Again Will Host Youth Book Club This Summer

The Edmeston Museum will once again host a book club for the interested 4th through 8th graders. The book club will be held on Wednesday, July 17th and July 24th 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the museum. Participants will be given a free copy of Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Activities will highlight different events from the book (though reading the book is not required). There will be a scavenger hunt as the museum has many of the tools and such mentioned in the book. Participants will also take part in crafts, a pie eating contest and making ice cream by hand. There is no cost but to insure plenty of supplies, the museum asks that you pre-register via email at edmestonmuseum@gmail.com or by calling Deb at 607-293-6635.
