A former Walton Central School teacher will be facing new sexual assault charges.

Stephanie Fletcher was indicted in January 2013 on two counts of rape, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of committing a criminal sexual act. Fletcher, 28 at the time,  was accused of having sexual relations with two teenage students while she was a teacher.

The case was dismissed on a technicality in February of this year by Delaware County Judge Carl Becker.

Now there will be another Grand Jury. John Muehl, Otsego County District Attorney, will act as Special Prosecutor. Here he explains the issue with the Grand Jury proceedings and how he came to be involved:

Fletcher will be arraigned in Delaware County Court on the 27th March.
