Fatality and Injuries in Tompkins County Collision

One person was killed and 3 passengers in a vehicle were seriously injured in a head-on collision on Route 13 in the Town of Dryden on Sunday.

The accident happened when Rachelle Williams, 24, was driving north on Route 13. As she entered the southbound lane she collided with a vehicle driven by Timothy Starr, 31 of Lansing, NY.

Starr was declared dead at the scene. Three passengers, including two children in Williams' vehicle, were flown to University Hospital in Syracuse where they were listed in serious condition.

State police are investigating the accident.
