Emily the Intern Tries New Perry’s Flavor, Queen of Hearts

This will be my last taste test of new ice cream flavors at Mac-A-Doodles Ice Cream Shop in Stamford.

This week I tried the new Perry's Ice Cream flavor, Queen of Hearts. This flavor is dark chocolate ice cream with raspberry swirls and chocolate filled heart candies. This is one of the only dark chocolate ice creams offered by Perry's Ice Cream and has been a hit at Mac-A-Doodles thus far this season. It has even earned itself a permanent spot on our menu!

This is a great flavor for chocolate lovers. The dark chocolate paired with the raspberry swirls is rich and delicious.The chocolate filled hearts add a nice textural component and the cute name sparks the interest of ice cream shop goers.

I like this flavor served up in a sugar cone. The sugar cone and the flavor pair up nicely.
