Area Legislators to Attend Oneonta Education Forum
What's going on in our schools has been a heated topic of conversation at a local and state level for a while now. The conversation with area legislators will continue this Thursday, February 6th from 4:30 pm to 6 pm at the Oneonta High School cafeteria.
This informal forum, sponsored by the Catskill Regional Teacher Center, is free and open to teachers, administrators, education students, and other education focused groups.
Featured legislators include: Clifford Crouch of NY State Assembly 107th District, Bill Magee of NY State Assembly 123rd District, Peter D. Lopez of NY State Assembly 127th District, and Duncan Davie, Senator Seward's Chief of Staff.
Marianne Luciano, Director of the Catskill Regional Teacher Center, and Carol Dean, Assistant Professor of Secondary Education, talk below about forum details and more about the Catskill Regional Teacher Center's role in the community.
Bring your concerns, ideas, and any thoughts on education with you to this forum. For more information, call the Catskill Regional Teacher Center at (607) 436-3920 or e-mail: CRTC@oneonta.edu.
