Delhi Football Coach Resigns

Dave Kelly, football coach for Delhi's Delaware Academy for 48 years, announced his resignation Wednesday afternoon.

Kelly's teams accounted for 272 wins over his career, second only to Walton's Jim Hoover's 298 in Section Four history. Under the direction of Kelly, the Bulldogs won the NYSPHSAA Football Class C football title in 2001.

His team once won a remarkable 34 straight games between 1984 and 1987.
